Fishing in the New River Gorge is a great experience. That’s primarily because people usually catch a lot of fish.

That’s what makes fishing the New different from fishing trips on a lot of other rivers. It’s full of fish, mostly smallmouth bass, which are just about as much fun to have on a line as you can possibly have.

Trips go out on the river in rafts, with the guide in the center at the oars. Guests sit at the ends in seats which are attached to a frame that sits on top of the boat. The whole experience is fun, comfortable, and a fantastic way to see the New River Gorge National Park.
