Driving Directions

Following directions to the New River Gorge is simple. It’s leaving that’s the hard part.

Even though we’re in the mountains, the Quality Inn New River Gorge is easy to find, and easy to drive to. We’re on U.S. 19, which is the same road that crosses the gorge over the New River Gorge Bridge.

Our area is accessed by major highways and interstates in all directions.

From the North and West: Columbus, Cleveland, Lexington, Detroit

Go to Charleston, WV then...From Charleston, WV: Take I-77(WV Turnpike) to North Beckley/Exit 48. Go north on US Rt.19 to Fayetteville. Look for us at the intersection with Laurel Creek Road.

From the South and South West: Atlanta, Gatlinburg, Charlotte, Greensboro 

Take I-77 (WV Turnpike) to North Beckley/Exit 48.Go north on US Rt.19 to Fayetteville. Look for us at the intersection with Laurel Creek Road.

From the East and South East: Charlottesville, Richmond, Norfolk

Take I-64 to the West Virginia Turnpike (I-77). Go north on the turnpike to the second Beckley exit - North Beckley/Exit 48. Go north on US Rt.19 to Fayetteville. Look for us at the intersection with Laurel Creek Road.

From the Northeast: Baltimore, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., New York, New Jersey 

Take I-81 south to I-64 west to I-77 north (WV Turnpike). Exit onto the second exit, North Beckley/Exit 48. Go north on US Rt.19 to Fayetteville. Look for us at the intersection with Laurel Creek Road.

From the North: Pittsburgh, Buffalo 

Go to Morgantown, WV then... From Morgantown, WV: Take I-79 south to U.S. Rt.19 (the Beckley/Summersville exit). Go south on U.S. Rt.19 past the Summersville area, approximately 40 miles. Continue south on U.S. Rt.19, crossing over the New River Gorge Bridge. We are located a mile south of the Bridge at the Laurel Creek Road intersection.
