 It’s just a 5-minute drive from our hotel near New River Gorge Bridge via US-19 N.

 Admission is free.

 The Visitor Center is open seven days a week from 9 am to 5 pm. To slow the spread of COVID-19, all park visitor centers are currently closed.

 Plan ahead using a a map of the trails and roads. Temporary closures are marked for your reference.

New River is a popular spot for hiking, biking, rafting, rock-climbing, zip-lining, and all kinds of water sports. Don’t forget to pack water and sunscreen before heading out for a day in the Gorge.

 Visit the Canyon Rim Visitor Center on the north side of the bridge for stunning overlooks.

 Drive along Fayette Station Road for unique views from underneath the bridge.

 Attend Bridge Day on the third Saturday of October, one of Fayetteville’s most popular local events. The Bridge is open to pedestrians for only one day a year and is the largest extreme sports event in the world!
